POMEGRANATES

For those of you that guessed my mystery tree was a pomegranate, you were correct.
Over the weekend we went back to our new house and the fruit trees were all doing their "thing."
Here you can see the orange colored blossom and what happens to it as the fruit matures. This is something I had never seen before and I find it fascinating to see how the fruit grows.
The most exciting thing for us was the addition of the sold sign appearing on the house.
Now we just have to be patient until the 20th of June.
Thank you for all of your encouraging words. We really appreciate them.

That's so neat to see! And it seems as though it happened really fast. I'm so excited about your new house!

I haven't seen a pomegranite since I was a kid. I loved it when the Foster's tree produced a bunch. Keith Foster and I would eat the sour seeds inside.

Hi Sue, It's beautiful to see pomegranates in the making. You are the lucky one to have these things ripening for you.

I don't think I have ever seen a pomgranite fruit on the tree. Thank you for sharing.

Those are pretty. I remember a tree in my grandpa's yard and sucking on the seeds. Have fun with the fruit in your yard.

Oh, fresh fruit!! How I miss our fruit trees in KS. Before long we'll have more, though. Keep us posted on different stages. One hobby I enjoy is progressive photography: capturing different stages of the same plant. I'm not that familiar with this fruit and would love to watch it mature.

I know this sounds strange, but I've never seen them on the tree. Sheltered life, I guess. :) Thanks for showing us.

I have never seen them on the tree! They look like flower pods! I guess thats actually what they are. My daughter was just asking today for us to buy pomegranits to try.
