PLACER COUNTY FAIR

We decided to take a break from all the unpacking and arranging and go to the local county fair. It was small and had all the typical things that fairs have.
The best thing was the car races on a soap drenched track. I will show several of those pictures in the next few days.
Have a super weekend.
Don't forget to click on the photo to enlarge it.

Well, our own Marin County Fair starts tomorrow and runs through the 4th., so that should be a lot of fun if it doesn't get too hot... Looking forward to lots of photo ops...

Your photo is colourful and I love what it represents, BUT it reminds me that our state fair, which is inching closer means the end of summer. No!

I like this stuff - spun sugar - but am amazed it is still a big seller at county fairs.

I hope you have a nice weekend.

Welcome back! I'm glad you took some time out from unpacking for a little fun. Packing and unpacking is the pits!

Beautiful colors on this one!

How fun! A classic fair picture. I can just smell that popcorn and cotton candy.

Love all those pastel colors!! Fairs are lots of fun.. Is the Placer County Fair in Grass Valley?? I was at that one last year but not sure if that was the Placer County Fair. Glad you took a well deserved break from all that unpacking. Looks like it was lots of fun. Aloha, Renee :)

I like popcorn. I like candy apples. I like cotton candy. But I always follow my nose to the funnel cakes first.

Nice, colorful shot.
