ITS OFFICIAL

Hi everyone. Sorry I haven't posted for so long but I have great news. We sold our home and got a little over the asking price.
The other part of the news is just as good. Our offer on a beautiful home was accepted this evening. It looks like we can take possession on June 20th.
I will be so happy to live normally again and not be on such an emotional roller coaster.
Thanks for so many encouraging thoughts and comments.
As always to enlarge just click on the photo.

Hi Photowannabe Sue,
Am very happy for you that your old home sold, and you found another... All that hard (and stressful) work has paid off...
Great shot too! I tried shooting those same plants out at "my" Roy's Redwoods as they were opening this year, but without any luck... You got it -- spot on! Very nice photo!

congratulations! I'm certain it will be full of adventures for you!

Congratulations on selling your home and the purchase of another. Now you have to hire a mover, pack everything up, unload it all at the new place.... and then spend a couple of months cleaning, painting, arranging furniture, poking about in the garden.... what fun!

Wow, that is wonderful. Now you have me motivated. I think your market must be better than ours here, however.

It is nice to celebrate now and then and even better when your bank account is full. Good luck on your new home purchase too. And set aside some space for wildlife there too.

Thanks for your visits to my blog.

Hey...beautiful photo! And, congratulations on your new home; that is exciting.

Also, I agree with your comment on my blog about death. If we know where we are going we have nothing to worry about. The chaplain said we worry to much about somehting that is going to "triumph" over us one day. My first reaction to that was death does not "triumph" over those that have embraced Christ's work of death and resurrection in their lives. ...because He has TRIUMPHED over death and the grave!

How well I remember these times of selling and buying and feeling human again afterward. Congratulations, that's just great. All your hard work paid off quite quickly in a pretty slow housing market.
