THE CIRCLE OF LIFE
Hi, everyone. I'm finally back. Here's one of the reasons I have been gone so long.
Our house went on the market this last weekend and we had our first open house.
We were stretched to the limit but finished everything we set out to do. The stagers came in and really perked up our place. If you remember my posted picture of the kitchen in progress, I think you will agree that the "new" kitchen looks fabulous. It was well worth the angst.
The best part is that it looks like we will have at least 2 offers to consider on Friday. So things are zipping along.
Thanks for your well wishes and patience.

Wow -- that kitchen looks really snazzy... Too bad you did all the work for someone else...
And two offers so far -- you'll come out of the deal in great shape...
really look great....definitely will get more offer:-))
Kitchen looks great.
Congratulations to have a offer already. Here is Nelson lot's of house is on the market (People only stay one place in average of 7 years in here, except us) and lot's of them have no offer and stay longer on the market or re-market next summer. I hope you have good deal for you.
The heart of a house ... in my opinion! The kitchen looks great ... I like to stay in kitchen and like to cook. Cloud you belive it? It is true! Nice you are back!
I am so glad that you are back! The kitchen is lovely.
Sue,
Your questions for the "Interview Challenge" are in my latest post!
Sue, the kitchen looks great. Good luck on your offers. It is great to see you back.
Sue...what an awesome kitchen! Thoser "stagers" really know what they are doing. A friend of mine had them do his home over in Beleview before he moved all of the family over. They even invented a daughter they didn't have! (they had three boys...but when they showed the house, they had a girl's room)
Amazing what we expecct to see!
Good luck! (glad it's not me. :) )
It really, really is fine!
We should do same thing, because we are only two of us living here in Joensuu, not any children or relative here, but my husband says, that where
should he go from very own home :)
I could know very well, where, but he does not,so :))
I wish you happy, restful May!
it looks neat!!!! and nice to see u back, Sue....:)
Great kitchen. You folks have really put in tons of work.. But well worth it if you have 2 pending offers. WOW.. that is wonderful. Nice to see you back :)
The kitchen really looks good. Bet you're happy it's all done now.
Fantastic kitchen, you did a great job! Hope you sell soon!
I love it too, and I'll make you an offer right now! I never heard of "stagers" before, but they did do a great job. I love the colors, the art, and that piggy chef is awesome! Five whole burners too! Such a cheery place. So many times my husband and I have lamented how wonderful our house looks when we sell and move. And now you have to say good-bye to the turkey vultures too?? :(
Yes, the kitchen looks great. I'll be back to read your answers to your interview questions.
That means hard work payes back:)
your kitchen looks great - wish I could make an offer on the house as we're house hunting right now!
welcome back! we missed you! and my....what a difference! is it kind of bittersweet...finally doing the remodeling and not being able to reap the benefits?
glad to hear things are progressing quickly....that's how it went when we sold our old house. we had 3 competing offers within a couple of weeks. good luck!
Heyyyyyyyy that's a purteeeeh cool kitchen! Good luck with the fortunes regarding the offers :) May there be more to come!

I love the clean simple lines and it's so bright and cheery!
It looks great. It's sad that you get it perfect and have to leave. Good luck with it all.
It does look very nice indeed! I like the white very much. Gives it a clean look. Good luck on the offers!
Your kitchen looks great!
Hey, you did it! That's great!!
WOW Sue! Your place looks great! Almost looks too pretty to sell.....but of course that would depend on all those offers!
Bet it feels great being on this side of all those projects!
Now if only I could keep my kitchen looking like this half of the time, I'd be a happy girl. Ben????
PWBe....I'm totally stunned! You know why, of course.
I just can't believe it. Why didn't you say when you visited on Thursday?? (thanks so much, BTW)
For the rest of you folks, I have only just come to visit & discovered that incredibly, My post on Wednesday had exactly the same title, 100%. And no, I hadn't seen this all week until now!
The only other thing I can say - splutter - is, what a beautiful room! Well done. But what a shame you will be leaving it.Well, you know what's best, I hope. SXXX
PS, no, not 100%...mine was 'Cycle', though I had thought twice about it.
my dream kitchen! the large work-top is practical and whoever bought the house is sure lucky to own it
