PACK IT UP

If we lived in a covered wagon, packing would be far easier than it is today. In fact, I would be finished -instead of half way through.

I love the details you caught!
And you make me go back to the past for a little moment!

I love the tones. Really well composed shot. They really did have to travel light.

I love these photos of the fort. Can you imagine the dust that would be in your stuff if packed in that?

....and if your household is a 'stereotypical' one...the wagon would be loaded-or overloaded-with all things important, and the man's meager belongings would be left behind.....:)

But don't forget, the wagon would be packed to the brim too... pity those poor pack animals that had to pull it up hill and down dale!
Great photo, lovely dusty colours.

Hey, you can still pack the old-fashioned way - but I'm not sure everything will arrive in your new home in one piece!

Do you print up some of these masterpieces, frame them and display them in your home?

I as a kid used to love the caravans and the dusty images of nomads moving from village to village....I guess i still a fascinated by the idea but prefer living a more stable life than that!! :)Lovely detailing..but then can trust u to come up with it .....a s a regular visitor of ur blog over the past few weeks, i credit u with a sensitivity not often seen! :)

Your recent photographs are stunning. Thanks for showing them. And thank you for stopping at my place and commenting on everything from the ordinary house fly and ant to the downy woodpecker.
