The journey have been certainly interesting like this building in your today`s photo.
I was three years ago in Jordan also in these days and Petra there was most interesting place, where I have ever been.
Thank you for your visits and kind words on my blog.

That is a very large fence, or the people are very small!

My brother inlaw & family are doing a family DTS with YWAM in Chico, not to far from your new place. This world gets smaller every day.

One would think world travel and world information (TV) would open our hearts to others whose lives are so different from ourselves. In general it doesn't seem to be having this effect on the sentiments of these war-crazed times. I'm wondering, do you feel a closer kinship to others, a deeper feeling of brotherhood and sister as a result of your travels?

It must have been a wonderful journey. The picture gives us a glimpse of that. I guess I'll have to wait until my little Pequetes grow a bit more, before I can start travelling to far away places again...

What city is this? I lived in Istanbul and dreamed of traveling into Central Asia.

Now I want to go read some Gurdjieff . . .

The Great Islamic Architecture is simply timeless as it is intricate.

and your vantage point to capture it's grandeur and size is wonderfully done.

What a lovely capture.
