BAY BRIDGE

Tomorrow Hubby and I will be crossing the Oakland San Francisco Bay Bridge on the first of many trips a storage unit in the Sacramento Area. We have started the process of Purging and Packing ,as I call it , in anticipation of moving in several months.
Forty years in the same house equals Stuff. And we have Stuff...boy do we have Stuff...
I won't be able to look at your blogs until I get back late Friday. Please bear with me, I will return.

good luck! it IS amazing how much stuff we accumulate over time, isn't it? every time we move, i purge, but then acquire a lot of stuff again as soon as we get settled in.

So the Grand Adventure begins...albeit in a tedious and brow-mopping manner. Best wishes this week!

Hi there. I followed your link home from Anna Carson's blog. I'm glad I did, because your photography is compelling.

I'm a journalist and photographer from London, Ontario, Canada. I specialize in the scenes and images that we'd otherwise miss as we go through the paces of our day-to-day lives. As such, I tend to focus on macro images as well as glimpses of my family.

I look forward to seeing more of your work, and invite you to follow this link back to my blog for a peek at my photos as well. Good luck with the travel and the packing: how exciting to be getting ready to pick up stakes!

E-see you again soon!

All the best,

Carmi

Love your picture today. What a great time you're going to have (NOT!!!) packing up 40 years!

I went through similar (not 40) and I have some boxes still not opened!

Hi Photowannabe,

I'm glad you missed me and waited for me. Now I'll miss you for a day and look forward to your return.

Purging - such sweet sorrow. The season is almost right for it, though. Spring cleaning's in the air.

You crossed the bay over the bridge, I arrived by air from Palm Springs last saturday on a cloudy day and couldn't see much until almost landed, I sat on the plane while some people got off and more came aboard, we then departed for Seattle and then home to Canada.
That was my trip to San Francisco.
