AM I BLUE?
Not really.
I don't know the name of this torch like flower but it is beginning to bloom everywhere in our City now. The blue is much more intense than some years. I thought you might like a bit of Spring today.
Sorry this didn't upload as sharp and blue as my original shot.
Have a great Sunday and it won't be BLUE MONDAY.

and I like the little lavender stamens poking out too.
Wonderful colors - very unique bush! Nice capture!
lovely little blue flowers. the whole plant looks like it could be part of the Cacti family. I wonder...
What a beautiful and unusual flower.
Wonderful blue colors. Thanks for that on a cold London morning!
Blue enough I'd say.
I don't know who said that there were hardly any blue flowers... here's proof to the contrary!
Lovely!

It's a gorgeous flower, but I have no idea what it is (even after googling for a while). Thanks for the spring when it is very cold and white here in MI!
You have a great eye for the photographable! (Is that a real word?) Lovely unusual flower, it must be a species of cactus, wonderful deep blue.

I wish I knew what this flower is called. When I get an answer I will let everyone know.
Thanks for posting this beautiful photo! Couldn't have come at a better time as we endure the cold snap here.
Heartfelt thanks for your comment regarding Sophie too!

I had to stop in here and "meet" you as I often see you posting on my brothers two blogs in Minneapolis. Congratulations on your milestone anniversary. You are to be commended! We celebrate 13 soon. :)
