Very nice. The sky and the sea is so blue, something a little rare to find in Bombay

Oh yes, Highway 1... I've travelled the road "innumerable" times -- as I live in Marin and my parents, now deceased, lived in the Monterey area (Pacific Grove)... Unfortunately, for most of those years of travelling up and down the coast I wasn't taking pictures... Seldom get down to the San Mateo coast now, but when I do -- it is a tourist event for me... I shouldn't be dropping links on your site, but I do have a little website (with little pictures) featuring the San Mateo coastline at: www.photoarrow.com

That is spectacular. No wonder the natives and the tourists come and come back again.

Absolutely magnificent! Your comment is perfect-it's always there but it's never the same. That is what makes photographing water so wonderful!

Beautiful photo, and I love the caption too. Yes, the coastline IS always changing, isn't it? And in only ten million years, thanks to the San Andreas Fault, Los Angeles and San Francisco will pass each other. We'll be neighbors!!

for us: europeans, the pacific coast represent travelling in freedom...or something similar...wild sea and earth. I travelled the coasts at south california..but this is another tale..
