REFLECTIONS PAST AND VISIONS FUTURE

Coming to the end of the year has put me in a reflective mood. 2006 has been filled with fun and laughter and tears and sadness. Even though things were difficult at times ,those very things became the building blocks that I believe made me a stronger person. Deaths of family and friends, loss of jobs and health issues had us turning to the Lord time and again.
Good times and the challenges of traveling and living in several 3rd world countries were high points for me. Making new friends and seeing things from a different perspective are experiences I wouldn't trade for anything.
I'm grateful for the chance to be with all of my grandchildren and have those precious hugs and kisses.
I look forward to this next year with expectation. It will be full of challenges and changes. We will be moving in the late Spring . Finances and missing our family has pushed us towards this decision. A new home, new friends, new church at our age won't be easy but its exciting too.
Life is good and I wish the very best for each one of you too.
Happy New Year Bloggers.

The tree in the photo seems to be standing in very fertile land. Yes, life is good, and your narration is thoughtful and thankful -- all at the same time. Your life will be fertile, like the land, because of your attitude--despite changes. Thank YOU for your many visits, your beautiful photos, and your ability to share your life! May 2007 be the best so far for you and yours--you value all the right thigs in life!!

Moving is hard for me but then I've always moved away from family rather than toward them. I hope you find the coming move a very easy and pleasant one. And I hope you will continue posting photos. Yes, make that a New Year's resolution if only for my sake.

Bonne année, bonne santé

Good year, good health
time passes, the years slip by. When a new year starts, one always wonders if it will bring peace and happiness to each one… Close the eyes and make a wish!

Beautiful reflections on the year that has passed.

New beginnings are difficult, but with a positive attitude and support of those people who are important to us, and of course faith, we can make it through.

Bless you and Happy New Year.
