Yes, the colours are great. I love seeing them; is this for art work and serious craft projects?

Nice patterns, textures, and colors!

I know what you mean. I have been so busy with Christmas activities and work, that my camera has been idle for several days.

The colors are vibrant. The spools are nice, an unusual shape (at least for me). I like how small and compact they are. This makes a nice graphic image, as Olivier said.

I love the colors here. Ordinary spools of thread turned into a festive colorful photo.

What a great photo with an explosion of color! Well worth the wait....but the intermission has been equally nice!

okay I just read my comment and one could interpret that I've been enjoying the fact that you've not posted for a couple days.
Of course that's not true!
Glad you're back :)

Andy's dad thanks for looking
Oliver-I really like the graphic style too.
Kate - These are vintage bobbins. My mother in law never threw anything away. We have acquired an eclectic collection from her. I do love crewel embroidery and crafts, but turning photographs into notecards has become my passion.
John Roberts - Thanks and I look forward to your next post.
Ruth - Its fun to try something different.
tr3nta - Thanks, I'll take a look.
Laurie - Making something special out of the ordinary is always fun for me.

I like it! Definitely a good note card shot.
Sorry to hear you had so much trouble with the new blogger. I had some problems at first too but it is definitely a change for the better. Glad your back and I can’t say I enjoyed the “intermission” :) :-)

Love the colors here. LIke the simplicity of the shot turning ordinary objects into art.

Hope your blogger problems are over. Good to see you back.

Ooh, it's good to look at these colors all together. And to think you've taken this photo from spools of thread your mother collected. You've done it, posted a photo, another wonderful one. Congratulations!

Well it was well worth the wait. Those colours make me feel better. And thanks for finding my ocean at Guincho last June. Funny, in a way! Have you found the bridge yet? (July & all over the place)
