EARTHLY CONVULSIONS

Red Springs had so many amazing rock formations. The evidence of volcanic activity is everywhere. The rocks seem to be spewed out and where they land is where they stay forever.
The pink color comes from the iron ore as it oxidizes.
My imagination sees a skull rock in the foreground.

These last few photos are so typical of the area as I remember it. The colours are so subtle, but yet they are so strong. Good shot!

Oh oh, I see it too, mummies and skull! Funny, I was in Utah this summer, and so many photos I took had "things" in them when I got home and started looking at them... The same iron oxide too, after it rains the colors got so intense for about an hour, it was amazing!

Thanks for stoping by my blog :)
