CALICO CANYON LAS VEGAS

Several of you suggested we travel to Red Rock Canyon to see a different side of the Las Vegas area. We rented a car and thoroughly enjoyed our journey to the other side.

My hubby and I took a side road on our way to the canyon and came upon some beautiful sights. This area in Calico Canyon is called Red Springs. I'll be posting these sights for a few days and then show you Red Rock Canyon.
God has an amazing paint brush.

In the desert there are some surprising things, aren't there. Colors and creatures and sometimes flowers. I'll look forward to seeing what you have to show over these next few days, Photowannabe.

Cristina, it was only in the mid 60's. Just a really neat Fall day. Sun was great, shade was cool.
