NIQUINOHOMO ALARM CLOCK

I have to remember to post my pictures in the reverse order. This one should be last but I think they will still make sense. Posted by Picasa

LOL, I don't think I would have wanted to know either. I love the sound of a rooster crowing. I think once you get used to the sound it doesn't keep you awake.

The chicken soup had to come from somewhere!

I remember growing up on our small family farm; we usually had in the neighborhood of 400 free ranging laying hens. The excess roosters frequently became soup stock for they were too tough to roasting.

Good story, it brings back memories!

Yeah, but he's the alarm clock that can be eaten!

Ah yes. Whenever I'm in Croatia, every morning I get woken up by a few of these (they live in the garden next door). Nice, evocative picture.

Your picture transports me to a rural place with these natural alarm clocks :)
